Mark-to-future

I bought my copies to use as a "giveaway" for my clients. These are the parents of children concerned about steering them in a direction appropriate to their talents and interests. I give the conventional tests including a brief job interest inventory, and a copy of Dr. Mark Edwards' book for the child to work through at home. I have only heard compliments from the parents - and children. The book isn't just useful, it is motivating and fun to use.

What a brilliant study these authors have compiled! Mandatory reading for anyone with an interest in the role of agriculture/food in the developing world.

Global Food Projections to 2020...a critically important look at the way in which food policy will affect the changing dynamics of the global economy and the lives of billions throughout the world, and how we can develop new strategies to combat hunger and poverty. An excellent work!

Dazzling! The breadth and insight of this volume will lead you into some serious thinking about emerging global issues. I particularly liked the analysis of hunger and poverty in Africa.
While not a page turner, this book keeps your attention until the end on these pressing topics.

This is a 114 page book that could've easily been written in a third of the space. It took only 20 minutes to read. It is badly edited, with several typos and bad internal references. A good deal of the information in it is out of date, and there is very little technical information at all. It seems to be a small expansion of a magazine article written for purchasing people. It is addressed to senior management, but I don't know of any senior management who would listen to the hype. It would be a good book to give a senior management person whom you don't like, but wants to know something about EDI.
