Auditing

When I was a new auditor working with an international wide accounting firm,I treated the first edition of this handbook really "a book in my hand" during working hour. The title of the first edition is " Handbook for Auditors".The book covers not only what you think you need to know about auditing, either standards, norms, technics, or codes of ethics and role of conducts, but also the matters that you have not thought but indeed, as the professional auditor, you really need to know an be familiar with them. This second editon of the handbook has been enriched with the experience of each author as well as Mr. Cashin as the famous editor and writer in the field of accounting and auditing. Beside that, the handbook has also been revised and updated with current rules, standards,and norms wich are generally accepted by many countries. Indonesia, where I am living and working, is one the countries that apply accounting principles and auditing standards most likely the same as GAAP and GAAS in the United States.
I recommend this handbook for both junior and senior auditors anywhere to be treated as the second bible that you should always put at your hand-reached. Good luck, and my best regards.
